This hitch will fit the "A", "B", "G", 50,60 and 70

I'VE HEARD SOMETHING ABOUT HAVING THE RIGHT DRAWBAR SUPPORT?

You will need to have a late model drawbar support for this hitch..
If your Model "A" serial# is below A-561903 ~you will need Drawbar Support #AF-904R
If your Model "B" serial# is below B-186134 ~you will need Drawbar Support #AB-3507R
If your Model "G" serial# is below G-18700 ~you will need Drawbar Support #AF-904R
These can be ordered from your John Deere Dealer,or a tractor salvage yard.
Please check to see if the support looks like the one in the pictures shown

The real question is:"How much is your time worth?"
I myself have spent countless hours refining the
design (lengths,angles,checking out available
parts,and yes making mistakes)so you don't have
to. If plans for a hitch this heavy and well-built
was available, I'd bought them and save myself the
time and aggravation too.

While I've done my best to provide plans that will work on all the listed tractors,because
of different modifications and styles that I've not encountered,If for any reason you

This view shows how the Top Link Mount
bolts to the rear axle using the
existing studs and the Lift Arms to the rocker shafts...no modifications to the tractor.

This is the revised Top Link Mount
The bridge can be bent or welded.

NOTE:

This conversion requires your tractor to have a "Powr-Trol" or a "Powr-Lift" unit.

If you have a Powr-Trol unit you will have the ability to adjust the attachments to various heights.
If you have a Powl-Lift unit you will only be able to fully raise or lower attachment(although the attachment will be able to "float" in the lowered position.
